Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of about 200 world-class metallurgists, engineers, and software developers working across 4 sites in the UK, 1 in Japan, and 1 in Seattle to build the future of advanced metal components. To do this it uses proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling to invent better alloys, devise better ways to process them, and design better 3D-printed components.
Alloyed's propulsion division, Argive, designs and manufactures microturbine engines for jet propulsion applications. Argive serves a range of customers with serial production of engines, development of new engines classes and longer-term propulsion technology development.
Argive is seeking a motivated and ambitious Commercial Manager to support the Commercial Director in building out the business. This includes developing new and existing customer relationships, securing new opportunities and helping to build Argive's commercial strategy. Internally, you will also be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the production unit economics to feed into pricing and cost improvement, and for managing divisional finances. This role involves close collaboration with the Argive Commercial Director and the central Alloyed FP&A team. You will work within the Strategy and Finance function supporting Argive and play the critical role in building a high-performance engineering business.
You will be based at Argive's development site in Yarnton. A highly competitive remuneration package is offered, including equity incentives.
