Alloyed is a venture-funded company consisting of more than 160 world-class metallurgists, mechanical/design engineers, and software developers working across offices in the UK, Japan, and Seattle. We specialise in developing advanced metal components for industries including consumer electronics, AR/VR, liquid cooling systems, and additive manufacturing (AM) applications. Our proprietary software packages leverage advanced machine learning and physical modelling to create innovative alloys, optimise processing techniques, and design high-performance, 3D-printed components.
Alloyed is looking for an experienced Computational Design Engineer with strong expertise in parametric and computational design to support our innovative product development team. You will be responsible for designing optimised structural and thermal components, tailored specifically for additive manufacturing processes, and driving solutions from concept generation through to detailed CAD designs and final production. Collaboration with simulation, manufacturing, and process engineers will be essential to ensure design feasibility and performance.
