Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of about 100 world-class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers working across 3 offices in the UK, 1 in Japan, and 1 in California to build the future of advanced metal components. To do this it uses proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling to invent better alloys, optimise the way in which these alloys are processed, and use them to design and build better 3D-printed components.
You’ll have a background in DevOps, a strong academic record, and a solid understanding of software engineering design best practices. You will be working in a fast-paced, agile environment alongside a team of developers, material scientists and additive manufacturing engineers to be responsible for the infrastructure development of our cloud-based software platforms.
Although being based in Oxford would be advantageous, there is flexibility in location. The role is offered on a permanent basis, with a probationary period. A highly competitive remuneration package is offered, with salary and equity incentives based on experience.
