Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of around 180 world-class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers working across three offices in the UK and one in the US, building the future of advanced metal components. We use proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling, as well as extensive experimental facilities, to 3D print metal components better and faster than anyone else.
At our premises in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, we are aiming to build the world's fastest, smartest, and best-equipped facility for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts for the electronics, aerospace and industrial sectors, and novel metal alloys for better performance.
Alloyed is seeking a dedicated Infrastructure Technician to support, improve and maintain the organisation's infrastructure systems.
This Infrastructure Technician plays a key role in enabling the rapid growth of the company, combining hands-on technical work with designing of infrastructure improvements and performing maintenance activities. Working as part of the Infrastructure and Facilities team, you will cooperate with contractors as well as the Operations, Engineering and Health & Safety teams to ensure works are conducted safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to business operations.
This is a practical, physical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a can-do attitude, and enjoys variety in their day. Full training will be provided, and prior infrastructure experience is not essential. Travel between our sites in the Oxford area will be required.
