Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of around 150 world-class metallurgists, mechanical engineers, technicians, and software developers. Operating across two locations in the UK and one in the US, we are building the future of advanced metal components. Our innovative approach integrates proprietary software that combines advanced machine learning and physical modelling with extensive experimental facilities, enabling us to 3D print metal components more efficiently and effectively than anyone else.
Our facilities in Yarnton and Abingdon, near Oxford, are dedicated to establishing the world’s fastest, smartest, and best-equipped environment for the rapid development of additively manufactured parts and the creation of novel metal alloys for enhanced performance. We serve a variety of sectors including electronics, aerospace, and industrial by leveraging our cutting-edge technology to build businesses across diverse markets, each with unique requirements, timelines, customers, and cultures.
Alloyed is seeking a methodical and detail-oriented person with a keen eye for detail to join the Quality function. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting operations through the resolution of nonconformances and implementation of corrective actions. You will support the Quality function to ensure adherence to AS9100 and ISO9001 standards throughout our manufacturing processes, whilst promoting a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement. Your primary objective will be to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations while driving operational efficiency. This is not a quality inspector’s role focussed on metrology; rather, you will work closely with engineers and technicians, ensuring that all work is carried out according to processes and specifications.
This is an onsite role based at Abingdon Business Park, south of Oxford. Training will be provided where required.
To apply, submit a CV and a supporting statement by email to jobs@alloyed.com. The supporting statement should explain your motivations and how you meet the selection criteria for the role using examples of your skills and any experience. All documents should be sent as PDF files with your name and document type in the filename. Please provide details of two referees and indicate if we can contact them now.
This is a continuous recruitment effort. We will fill positions as excellent candidates present themselves, so your early application is encouraged.
