Alloyed is a young venture-funded company of about 200 world-class metallurgists, engineers, and software developers working across 3 sites in the UK, 1 in Japan, and 1 in Seattle to build the future of advanced metal components and systems. To do this it uses proprietary software packages which combine advanced machine learning and physical modelling to invent better alloys, devise better ways to process them, and design better 3D-printed components and assemblies.
Own the end-to-end supply chain for powders, production-critical materials, and internationally shipped components for Alloyed's customers. This role ensures secure, cost-effective, and quality-assured supply by identifying and onboarding suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, and establishing robust, scalable relationships. The Technical Buyer will lead goods-in and inventory control operations, while also coordinating and managing international logistics—ensuring all materials and components are shipped, cleared, and delivered on time, to specification, and accurately recorded in our systems.
